We visited Bologna, Italy to take part in the partners meeting of Imagine Europe project that took place from 29 to 30 October 2017. All 7 partners had an opportunity to discuss upcoming activities within the project.
The aim of Imagine Europe is to decrease the wave of upcoming Eurosceptism and Europhobia in the partner countries by organizing civic debates, discussions, informational campaigns and events on topics which remind us and take us back to the history and the shared values of the EU.
One of the main activities of the project is questionnaire which will help to investigate the causes of Europhobia and Euroscepticism and their growing impact on European citizens. Furthermore, the results of Imagine Europe include videos on success stories of people living in the EU who have benefited from the EU on national and international level produced by all partners.
During the visit we had also an opportunity to participate in an Oxford debate on the causes of Euroscepticism, which took place in the town hall building. More than 40 people participated in the debate. It was a great chance to get to know the opinions of citizens from different European countries.
The next meeting will take place in Croatia in December.
